 Have
you ever wondered just what the kids are up to during the church services
at 121 and when they come for a week during summer? If you have
a son or daughter in K - 5, you know they get all sorts of great teaching,
activities, and worship time. At VBX this summer, the children
learned about many different outreach efforts that our church is involved
with in India, Guatemala, Russia, and Mexico. Guest speakers
were brought in and the kids participated in such great activities as
a virtual prayer walk. But the learning doesn't end when summer
is over. Did you know that once a month during the regular services,
they learn about a particular mission outreach or country? The
program has been on hiatus for the summer, but it will soon be ramped
back up. The mission education includes a take-home paper with
short daily devotions and activities for a week. It is never too
early to expose our children to God's great works around the world and
His heart for the nations!
